The Full Story

About Me

My journey in the Restaurant Business began at 16 years old behind a cash register at a burger joint. From there I worked almost every possible position in some capacity. I've been a hostess, dishwasher, server, line cook, and then bartender. During this time I trained dozens of new bartenders, worked with many different types of people, and learned all I could about how the inventory process worked. After 13 years, I made the leap into management. It was here that I was able to take all I had learned and put it to action. Successfully eliminating major sources of inventory loss and reducing variances to under 2%, I knew I'd found my calling.

In October of 2022 my husband received a job offer in Louisville, his hometown. Having recently accepted a promotion from GM to Director of Food and Beverage at a full service Marriott, I was reluctant to move. I spent over a year in GA without my husband and then in January of 2022 decided to join him in Louisville. We agreed I would take at least 6 months to help our children adjust to such a major life change, but this left me with a lot of free time too. This is where I fell in love with the culture and traditions that make Louisville, and all of Kentucky, a truly beautiful and unique place to be.

I know first hand the struggles of late nights and 60 hour work weeks many restaurant managers endure. I sought to find a way to help relieve that workload and free up managers' time for the every day problems they had to handle (like who would wash dishes that night because there was yet another call out that day). And that's when I looked to what I knew best and loved the most- Inventory Management and Training. From there, I give you BarFox Consulting LLC!

Vision

To become the leading beverage inventory management solution for Louisville, KY and to grow with the needs of our clients.
